Physical markings: The lightning bolt on his forehead and the slightly faded scar of "I will not tell lies" on the back of his hand are the only visible scars that he has lived with longer than the war. He does have the odd battle scar, but who doesn't that fought in the Hogwarts battle is what he would like to know. Appearance: Though he started out small and skinny, he has begun to grow like any other teenager, especially with the help of Molly Weasley's cooking. His black hair is still messy and unkempt no matter what he does, but he likes it that way. He wears glasses that are constantly being repaired or magically enhanced to repel weather. Family: His mother, father, and godfather are sadly deceased. He does still have his aunt, uncle, and cousin from his mother's side, but does not want to deal with them anymore – even if they've become nicer than when he first grew up with them. The Weasley family has "adopted" him as another of their own, and that's more family than he could ever claim. History: Unfortunately, there isn't much to say that hasn't already been written in the books about Harry. He was looking for Horcruxes to defeat Voldemort, and it was a constant struggle to keep himself and his friends alive. His enemies were his enemies and his friends were his friends, but the war garbled things for him in such a way that he only knew Voldemort was his enemy and everyone else "bad" could have gone one way or the other, especially after Narcissa Malfoy and Severus Snape surprised him. Harry is thrilled to even be alive and continue to have a history building as time passes. Recent Past: The war ended, and Harry breathed a sigh of relief. It took him several hours to take stock of everything that went on, and he finally realised that he had to put the past behind him and have some sense of closure. Severus Snape was dead, and he had given his life to save Harry, even though he had hidden this fact from practically the entire world. Harry returned to the scene of the crime after returning the Elder wand in hopes of burying his protector, but found the man was not there. He asked around and came to the conclusion that Nagini had devoured Snape or someone else had gotten to the man first. Yet again Harry was being denied closure, and it scarred his psyche. He has done his best to see friends who were hurt during the battle, but continues to remain alone to sort things out as he has more on his mind than ever before. Personality: Harry is a pleasant teenager who has his bouts of anger, frustration, and venom just as much as any, but he has since calmed down greatly since the death of Voldemort. He still tries to avoid everything dealing with being popular, and prefers to be kept out of the limelight – even if he knows that won't ever be the case. Strengths: Still speaks Parseltongue – though doesn't like to; a "natural" Quidditch player; can cast spells without a wand; senses the presence of others; particularly skilled in Defense against the Dark Arts; appears to be resistant to the Imperius Curse and Veelas; has a good grasp of Occlumency. Weaknesses: Quick temper, slightly sullen demeanour, severely scarred psyche. Habits: He's grown to mess up his hair when he thinks, adjust his glasses whether they need it or not, and balls up his fists when someone/something riles him.</blockquote> | |||||||||
